Founder & Principal Consultant
Susan Fong is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Dharma Data Solutions, bringing more than two decades of experience across business intelligence, finance, strategy, operations and technology transformation.
With a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting, Susan has built a career working across both the business and technical sides of organizations—translating complex operational needs into practical solutions, leading cross-functional initiatives and helping decision-makers use technology and data more effectively.
Having lived and worked in The Bahamas for more than 30 years, Susan also brings a deep understanding of the local business environment and the challenges organizations face when implementing technology, working with international vendors and modernizing legacy processes.
Today, her work focuses on software implementation, technology project management and business intelligence, helping organizations bridge the gap between business requirements, technology execution and measurable results.

About Me
I am a business and technology leader with more than two decades of experience spanning finance, strategy, operations, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise systems, and technology implementation.
My strength is working across functions and disciplines—connecting business needs with technology, data, people, and execution.
Throughout my career, I have worked with leadership teams, business users, technical specialists, software vendors, and cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, improve processes, implement technology, and turn information into practical business decisions.
I bring a combination of strategic thinking, analytical depth, project leadership, and hands-on execution. I am comfortable moving between the big picture and the operational details required to get initiatives successfully implemented.
My work today focuses on technology transformation, enterprise software implementation, project management, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
I am particularly drawn to complex environments where success requires someone who can understand multiple parts of the business, connect the dots, and help move ideas from strategy into execution.
My Journey back Home
I grew up in The Bahamas surrounded by entrepreneurship. My family owned and operated businesses for generations, and from an early age I saw firsthand what it takes to serve a community, respond to competition, manage change, and keep a business moving forward.
As the business environment evolved, I also saw how difficult it became for organizations to remain competitive without the right systems, processes, and information. What once worked through experience and instinct increasingly required technology, structure, and better visibility.
I left The Bahamas to complete my university studies in the United States, where my education and career eventually took me across finance, strategy, operations, analytics, business intelligence, and technology. Along the way, I became fascinated by how organizations adapt to change—and why some are able to transform while others struggle.
My career has never followed a single narrow discipline. Instead, I developed the ability to work across functions, understand complex business problems, connect information from different areas, and translate strategy into practical execution.
Over time, technology became the common thread.
I saw how the right systems could simplify complicated processes, improve accuracy, create transparency, and give leaders the information they needed to make better decisions. I also learned that technology alone is rarely the solution. Successful transformation requires business understanding, strong project leadership, engaged people, reliable data, and disciplined execution.
That realization ultimately shaped Dharma Data Solutions.
DDS represents my desire to bring together the different parts of my experience—business, technology, data, and implementation—to help organizations navigate change more successfully.
While The Bahamas will always be an important part of the company’s foundation, my work today is broader in scope. I help organizations bridge the gap between business requirements and technology execution, whether they are implementing new systems, managing complex projects, improving processes, or using data to make better decisions.
My goal is simple:
to help organizations turn complexity into clarity and strategy into results.
